Arrow Low oil pressure on new engine?

Just got my engine rebuilt and when you first start it the oil pressure is great, stays at a constant 40-45psi. But after it warms up, whenever the motor is idleing, the pressure drops to about 20-25psi. Give it a lil gas, and it goes back up to where it should be.

Its completly rebuilt, with new oil pump, bearings, rings, gaskets and everything.
5.2L 318ci v8.

Whats going on?

thats normal, pretty much all of them do that. for what its worth, when i switched to full synthetic oil and a k&n gold oil filter it didnt do it as bad, but it still drops at idle. as long as it comes back up when you start going, its fine.

hmmm. okay, i heard that a bottle of lucas oil stabilizer might help. Anybody done this?

Does anything special need to be done to go full synthetic? or just dump it in at my next oil change.

thanks
