Default Does anyone have experience with this cold air intake?

This cold air intake system is sold by a company called "Chrome Intakes" off of ebay. Originally I wanted to go with the cold air intake from K&N, but its too expensive right now. This guy offers the tubing and all that stuff, with a K&N filter for $75. Has anyone ordered one of these before? Or know anything about it? Will it last for a while or fall apart after a week of use?

Heres the link.

Thanks guys

Thats crazy, we where just talkin about it. Check out the thread about Homebrewed CAI... You'll find that a little cheaper.

Alright, sweet. I think I'll order one too, seeing how it does come with the K&N and those cone filters retail for about $50 here.

I have one from him. I've bought CAI's from him for every car I've had so far, and so far, the one I got for my dak is the only one I had problems with. The piping was too long, and the angles are a little off. Off enough that the piping rubs against the A/C lines, and I had to cut a good 3" off the end of the pipe so the filter would fit in the fender well.

All of the other 5 I bought from him have fit perfectly. Not sure why this was one was any different.
On the flip side I bought one from him for my old 96 Ram with a 360 and it fit fine too.
