Default ok so im seriously considering this

Ok so I am gonna do a cummins swap!! It is gonna take a good long time for me to get the bits together but it'll be worht it and so so very sexy!!

Now I'm gonna put in the 4BT, what did that come in? I'm thinking it be best to seal the driveshaft tranny ect all from the same car.

What do I need for the swap in general? I'm sure ill need bigger suspension ect... And I'm sure its not a simple bolt in. What's the best place to start.

I need all the help I can get lol!

I'm gonna start collecting the parts and if I find a ram or what ever for parts I may jump on it =)

dont do it.....

the 4bt is all mechanical. tune by hand drive by foot,
came in bread trucks.. thats perty much it

they're a good 36"s tall
and make a whopping...120 hp.. brand new
gonna cost several grand to get enough power out of them to make the swap worthwhile

Of topic Roamin but, where in NH are you? I was up in Nashua for a wedding last weekend and drive down from my g/f's house in Vermont from 93 all the way down to 3 I think it is.

not if your talking about a duramax, but thats seriously off topic.

Roamin - i say go for it, its your truck and you have your dreams. if you want to do it, then there is always a way to make it happen. good luck.
