I just bought a 2001 quad cab dakota and I can't find the tire changing jack. The manuel is telling me that it should be under the bench behind the passenger seat in the floor but I can't see how. The carpet in the back do not come up and I don't see how it could possible bee there. please help,any info would help. Thanks!

 

just thinkin out loud, under the back seat? Thats where mine is

 

It should be under the back seat but in my bro in laws ram its under the front passenger seat(i doubt its there). I would check under all the seats if you dont find anything then last owner or someone took it out.

 

under the passenger rear seat, towards the back you will see/feel a metal bracket. if its there thats where it would be. if all you feel is the metal bracket then its missing

 

on a quad cab...all you have to do if lift up the passenger rear seat adn BOOOOOM
there it is near the cab wall

 

It sticks out you cant miss if some one prob took it. Some one took my jack(left the tire iron tho) trailer hitch and trailer wiring but were kind enough to leave me the brake controller.

 

my truck had no jack no tire iron and no spare tire.. beat that

lol batty i got you beat! When I had my exhaust done my spare wasnt on and now it dont fit, they ran the exhaust straight after going over the axle. My angle grinder will fix it but still no spare lol
