If it was fully insured by FedEx, won't they cover the cost of repairs? I would keep the FedEx claim active and send it to ATI, then go from there. If it needs repairs that can be warranted to shipping damage, then make FedEx pay for all repairs including shipping. You may actually come out ahead and I'm sure Sincity r/t will help you with the details.

FedEx attempted to pick up the package today as scheduled, but the driver was told by the purchaser that it was not ready for pickup.

I am confused as to why FedEx is picking up, thought it needed to go to ATI.
I'll just let you guys work out. Good luck guys and try to keep the forum banter clean & fairly respectful.

I asked him to send it off to ATI to diagnose the head unit and determine whether we needed to file an insurance claim, but he refused. He asked that I initiate a FedEx claim without shipping it to ATI first, which I did. After the claim was started he changed his mind and asked that I refund his money without having anyone else (ATI/FedEx) look at it first, which I have refused. FedEx was scheduled to come by today and pick up the supercharger head unit and inspect it for damage, but apparently he turned away the driver.

Sounds like a mess thats going and probably should be sorted out between the two of you. Someone is making $hit up and needs to take responsibility, whether its FedEx or the shipper or the buyer, but not really for us to determine because clearly we do not know the whole story.

I was asking opinions, you brought yourself into this

I never named you,

Now the story has not changed 3 times at that every time I talk to you theres a new developement seeing I only talk 2 you every 2 or 3 days

and I keep backing out of sending it in because of this,

I have the emails saying you visually inspected it and it looks fine nothing you can see

I look at the biggest opening on the headunit and there is clear damage that has occured from use

I provided a picture clear as day that its not working

When I contacted ATI this was given to me as a rough estimate not a sure price. try calling and asking again

I see your point, but the facts here are clear.

I invite you to tell everyone your side of the story.

But to make you happy I'll let fedex take it.

*Delivery was ready and waiting to be picked up

no knock at door but tag was there.

I called and they are coming back tomorrow to pick it up.

This isn't going to be resolved through open forum, I think yall should just take it back to emails and handle it there. good luck on getting everything figured out and hopefully both parties can get some closure on the situation.

This is something that will not get solved through internet arguement. It doesn't sound like either of you are trying to screw one another so you guys need to call each other and work something out. b!tching about it over the internet will do no good to fix the problem it needs to be taken care of by you too.
