What's the max weight my 2001 Dakota truck bed can carry? can it handle a 600 lb welder? Any pics of someone that has one in the back of theirs?

I've put about 1500lbs of gravel in mine before, so I don't think you'll have much of an issue. It drooped quite a bit and didn't go over 40, but it did it.

put a 800lb 4 wheeler in the back of mine. it didnt like it to much but it can be done

I've loaded 1200lbs in one at work and it didn't even sag! Just as I set it on the tailgate to push it in, with a fork lift. I love hydraulics!
