Wow thank you so much guys, I have unfortunately not really been able to take care of it yet, but at least I know more or less what the problem is now. I had to change the coil springs about a year ago, I know the shocks themselves need changing, hopefully I can get the parts give it to my mechanic and just pay for labor. Had what sounds like a similar problem on my 2000. Turned out it was some kind of steering linkage that had broken. Can't recall the proper name. Worth inspecting though.

Could be caused by your brakes. Double check to make sure calipers and pads are installed correctly and all bolts are torqued properly.
