Is my fan clutch bad?
I've noticed that my AC doesn't blow cold at idle (sometimes it's even warm) and the temp gauge goes up above 210. While moving, the AC gets cold and the temp stays below 210. How hard should it be to turn the fan when the engine is hot? I can turn mine with one finger. It won't freewheel, but it is very easy to turn.

your fan clutch is fine.
the engine gets warmer simply because the fan cant move as much air across the rad as just driving does.
pretty much the same reason for the A/C blowing warmer at idle, but its the condenser thats not getting as much air flow. You could try adding some freon to your system, but i dont think it will help much.

get your A/C system checked out... it could just need a new charge or you might have a leak somewhere...
So you don't have the electric fan that comes on when you turn on your A/C? I thought most came with that...

Apparently, the '98 regular cabs don't have an auxiliary fan. I don't think it's leaking, it will freeze you out as long as you're doing 35 mph or better.
if i remember correctly, a vehicle sitting with the a/c on will have a temp output 10 degrees higher than when the vehicle is moving. a/c murders fuel mileage in stop and go traffic anyway. hell even at 70 mph, doing hand calculations, windows down ARE still BETTER than a/c on. then again i have a v6 and it's a pig.

do a coolant flush...
my truck will sit all day with the engine on in 100* temps and not overheat
