With the guys that do a lot of dune traveling, the guys are cutting a area out of their bed, and routing the intake up through the bed. This will eliminate a lot of all the rain/slush/dirt etc that your filter might see if its under the truck.

Haha yeah RWD with a turbo'd 360... No i don't think that would work all that well in the snow. My uncle had a hard enough time driving his vortech '97 cobra in the rain let a lone snow.

I'm telling you how these guys do it. There are 360/408/440 mopars running this rear mount. They make an adapter elbow that runs up through the bed of the truck, this clear all obstructions and or problems. kind of like a hatch that can open and allow an elbow extension. You can also build a shield that would weld on and blow the bottom and sourrounding part of the filter to eliminate this from being a problem.

I was talking more about the fact that a 2wd with a lot of torque means no traction. Doesn't matter how much weight you put over the tires or anything.

Hey bondslayer you have any pics of your r/t anyway?

You are very correct on the weight issue. I will try running some 17x12's in the rear on full hoosiers, if not I have some bigger m/t's I will try before I have to go to the ladder bar route. I would like to keep the bed usable.

Let me get some pics for you real fast.

Cover came on the truck, I am pretty sure it isn't made anymore, but I could be wrong as it fits flush with the body.

I just noticed krc now offers a twin turbo kit for around $3500 so if any of you guys want to add 2 turbo's, you can!

There arn't any dyno numbers on this set up yet, it's on the dyno this week.
