Default Which cherry bomb?

Lol I know most people say to stay away from cherry bomb but I am broke and want a better muffler then stock. I was told the vortex muffler can help mpg and hp but I would like your suggestions, since cherry bombs come in an assortment now lol. Thanks ahead of time. Oh yea, any idea on the hp gain from one of them with a cold air intake?

Can't go wrong with a glass pack for sure. Nice tone, decent gain, straight through design...

Plus, glass packs were made for V8's. For a softer, mellower tone get a long glass pack. For a harsher, throatier, louder tone, get a shorter glass pack.

As for the mufflers by Cherry bomb, just go by what their web-site says. I'm actually gonna look into them right now...

This is my exhaust. Its not a glass pack design. Now the vortex, which I know Altair from the 3rd Gen Section runs, is basically a flow through glass pack. It has a nice sound! The Pro that I have is not a glass pack style. Mine actually sounds a tad lower and more of a growl. Here are some of there current products, http://www.cherrybomb.com/products/, where you can see the actual designs and flow of the exhausts.

Anyways here are some pictures of mine, its a 3in setup without the resonators...

haha yeah, unfortunately the truck has been de-balled when I was playing in a snow bank or two. I backed up and it bent and broke the mounting hardware I was using... Needless to say it was a sad sad day when I looked down and seen my ***** laying there on the ground...

I still have them I just have not got around to put them back on.
