How much is my truck worth
2000 dodge dakota quad cab 4x4 automatic with 133k miles. Clean car fax. Everything works. one tiny dent by door and tail gate. Paint is in pretty good shape. nice interior dash in in good condition (unlike most dodges) It has nice exhaust (I get compliments all the time) and mud tires. What do you think shes worth. I'm sellin it in Florida so theres a pretty good truck market.

The miles are kind of high and I think I want a ram. I looked at the kbb but I want to see the real world price.
I think the kbb price is pretty fair based on what I was looking at over the last few weeks when researching buying my truck. I bought a 2000 Quad 4x4 SLT with 71,500 for $7,000 in Tampa. It does have some rear bumper rust and had a bad power window motor (now 2).
I just bought a 98 Dakota extended cab that was in great condition with 120k miles on it. I paid 5 for it. No dents/scratches.

Paid 4750 canadian for mine. 1998 5.2L Limited slip slt with 110 miles 3 months ago. It needed new shocks, new muffler, inner tie rods, fix the drivers seat, get a canopy and a real real good clean and wax. Cost me about 500 in parts. & the guy had just put on new tires, all new ball joints and breaks, new paintjob & put in a boxliner. The A/C still needs a recharge but it doesnt get hot enough for long enough; I can put up with opening the windows and enjoying summer. Lots of them go for between 5-12, but 90% of the ones priced 8-12 havent sold for months and months, takes a long time to get rid of it. Buying the same truck from the dealer will add a couple grand onto those prices. I would say start your truck at 7500 and slowly depreciate the price as time goes by.
