code questions.
1999 dodge dakota 5.2L, Okay heres the thing does anyone on here no what code p0420 means? because my trucks throwing that code.
And one more question i started my truck at my friends to drive home and when i started it my brake light and abs light came on, so i pulled out of their drive way and noticed my speedo wernt working so i drove to mc donalds and stopped and put my programmer back to stock and then started it up and the dash was clear again and the speedo worked so i started headed home again and about 8 miles down the road the speedo quit and the lights came on again and i was almost home so i stopped shut my truck off and turn the key on and off a few times to reset the computer and then i started it up and it was fine again and then drove 2 more miles to home and it was fine, but i dont no if it will do it when i drive it tomorrow does anyone no why my truck is doing this?

It's a sticky, and usually in bold..
Second, the keydance just gives you the code, it doesn't reset the compuer. To do thet, unhok the battery and turn the key to start for 5 seconds I believe.
third, P0420 (M) 1/1 Catalytic Converter Efficiency Catalyst 1/1 efficiency below required level.

Well im byeing the sensor for the rear end tomaro i looked it up its about 40 bucks, they have one for auto trans with i have and a manual trans i wonder what the difference is. I hope it's the right sensor a few people have told me that its on the tranfer case? And also my truck just threw a nother code p0107 does anyone no what this is? and why it might have threw it?
