P1740 A rationality error has been detected in either the TCC soleniod or overdrive solenoid systems.
This is the code my 2000 Quad Cab 5.9 keeps throwing. The overdrive acts up occassionally and turns itself on & off and this is the code I get.
Is this something I can fix from the outside of the tranny?
Where is this TCC Solenoid or Overdrive Solenoid located?
Any help appreciated...

I believe this is one of the solenoids that goes bad. Call a dodge dealer and talk to the service counter. they will point you in the right direction for replacing the solenoid. If I remember correctly, it shouldn't be all that hard to replace. Not sure but it's either right inside the tranny pan, or outside the transmission (pretty sure it's in the valve body, though).
