Personally, I'd like 6.1 HEMI, Stroked to a 6.9, and blown of course. I really wanna do that to a Jeep SRT-8. I mean, wouldn't it be awesome to say you got a 2009 426 HEMI??

Better fuel mileage than the 5.9 and more powerful.

The Cummins is great but a lot more practical in a full size truck.
Ha when I talk about putting a 440 or 426 in my dak, fuel milage just never seems to stop me.

I had one of these 30 years ago (yes, I'm old). Wish I still had that 383.

In todays world you could get a top of the line engine, phone, computer ect and a week later its old techology. I got a friend with a 74 dodge demon with a 440 its not a daily driver do to the 5mpg he averages but he hardley ever does anything with it other than driving it. Btw It said what engine would I want so if I want a 440 then thats what I want I dont care if its impractical its just cool to say to someone yeah I got a 440 CI engine with 3 2bbl carbs.

I like my toys to be fun yet practical to drive on the street, what's the fun if I have to daily drive a civic because my truck gets 5MPG?

I know but this really isn't for practicallity. If i were pratical I wouldn't be putting an old engine in it. Practically? I would like a s/c'ed 4.7 or maybe a 408 in an r/t.
