Hey guys quick question are the TV cable for the v6 3.9 and the dakota r/t the same length? I put a 360 and 46re in my 3.9 kota and the TV cable has some with the cable fully adjusted outward pulled toward the firewall.

why i think my tv cable is out of wack is because when im on the highway cruising at about 70mph im a little over 2000 rpm but when i take my foot of the gas the rpms drop down a bit as if its somewhere between neutral and drive and when i press the gas it hunts back up to rpm it was at before... and i literally have to floor it to downshift and when it does downshift it drops 2 gears to a real high rpm then goes back to od

 

the cables seem to be the same both part numbers are 52104030AD. I just dont know why there is so much slack in my cable and its adjusted all the way back towards the firewall
