Noob with mpg/power problem
thanks for all the help, I will begin to troubleshoot this crap.
It doesn't require that the throttle be fully open to start it. As long as I give it just a little gas it will start and run. Is there any way to check the IAC? Also, I don't have a shop manual for this thing so where is the IAC and what does it look like?

the iac is the little motor on the back of the throttle body, its not that expensive at (i think it was $35 when i did mine a couple years ago), really easy to replace its 2 torx screws holding it in, (t-10 i think) and it is very hard to determine if it is bad, i would just replace, keep in mind after you replace it you will prob need to give it gas to start the first time and the second time you start it will be normal once the computer "finds" where the motor needs to be
well it turns out that clearing the codes just made my trucks computer forget how to run for a little while. The truck runs fine again, except for the mpg thing which i will get to whn i have time. Thanks for the help again.
