Default 1999 dodge dakota eliminated AC belt

1999 dodge dakota eliminated AC belt, if i do this will it hurt my heat for the winter?

no it wont hurt your heat. i would be more worried about your AC pump not being used and seizing up

your defrost wont work. that uses the ac. to dry the air.

Ya the defrost will not defrost but the system will still work though. But you may get a CEL for the AC not working when you switch on the defrost.

My AC didn't work last winter, defrost worked fine, the AC is to just dry the air more. Does defrost not work on cars without AC???

defrost works exactly the same as cars without AC, it just doesnt dehumidify the air using the AC. you probably wouldnt even notice.

are you installing a bypass pulley or just wanting to install the smaller belt?

installing the smaller belt and thats the part number for it at napa and i want to make shore that will fit.
