I need a favor...
If one of you guys has an AWD Dakota with the np242d transfer case with the 32 spline output shaft, could you accurately measure the outer diameter of your rear slip yoke?
I'm working on a transfer case swap in my '95 Dakota with the np242J transfer case, and the jeep's 27 spline slip yoke has a smaller outer diameter than the dodge's 27 spline slip yoke, so my driveshaft won't fit in the extension housing. I was wondering if I could solve this by getting a 242d extension housing, or if the 242d extension housing would be too big since its 32 spline. If I can't use the dodge extension housing, my other option is to grind down the yoke on a lathe (the inner diameter and splines are the same).
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for looking out Crazy!
Actually, I think all the 2000 and on 231d's also had the 32 spline output shaft, so that widens the field if any of you have a 2000+ 4x4 and are willing to help.
