Default 99 Dakota 4x4 Front axle

I don't know what axle is in this truck. Can someone fill me in?
I took off the cover and didn't notice any numbers. I got issues with it. With the front shaft off , if you grab the yoke and turn it hard to the right there is some noise like a little slip before it grabs. Yoke has a little play when wiggled. Looking in the gearbox, the gears look ok I don't see any real wear on the gears. Even the pinion attached to the yoke looks like it is ok. Could the problem just be the bearing that holds the yoke?
I do need to know what case this is first. What were the options on the 99 dakota. Mine has the V6.

Generic crap IFS lol...Mine has little bit of play and dribbles oil. I'm not too worried about it for the time being.
