Default another fiberglass part in D Kota

well... got me a new toy.
a sunpro tacometer
so i get to know how fast my motor really is going

first problem to solve is where to mount, i decided to go with the practical pillar mount
.
.
.
one problem with the 2" pod that i already had...

the gauge is 2&5/8"s

so. its time to break out the fiberglass skills...

I started off by making a tube to fit the gauge and trimmed the pod to fit it....

did a test fit
then i trimmed it a little more...

then i decided i didnt like how it would end up so i went a little further into it

shaped it to match the subwoofer box and glassed for good

and so far i've gotten all the way to be able to test fit....

im a fan...

I was looking at the pillar mounts to put tweeters in but they are to small, I like what you did. I'm going to have to make 2 of those for my speakers.
