Default Truck whips back and forth?

Basically when I let off the gas quick the truck will whip back and forth a bit. Only happens in first or second gear though.

It's been like this since I got the truck, just learned to drive without making it happen.. I'm thinking it's not normal though, cause I've never driven a vehicle that does this..

Ideas?.. 97 4cyl, 2wd

Front to back. When it starts doing this, it will sometimes keep doing it for a while until I give it a bit of gas. I can hear a clunk each time it goes back or forth..

i bet you are still running original shocks, which are beyond toast by now.

Heh, are stock shocks just plain black? :P At 200k, if they are stock, yeah, they're done.

I actually ordered 4 new shocks a few days ago and they're on their way. We'll see if that does anything.
