5.2 rebuilt-oil in 1 valve cover-low pressure?

Default 5.2 rebuilt-oil in 1 valve cover-low pressure?

recently rebuilt a 5.2 mag and since i am not getting any oil in driver side valve cover but i am in passenger side also i have low oil psi. any direction you can point me would be great. tried in ram section here but thought id try here to being the dakotas have this engine as well truck is a 1999

Sounds like you may have one of the oil passages clogged. You can try seafoam. But most likely you will need a rebuild to clear it up correctly.

thanks i dread pulling this out i just put it back in but i have no confidence anymore in the machine shop seeing they gave me the wrong bearings thus far.

Sounds like you didn't get an oil passage properly lined up to me.

do you mean when they installed the cam bearings? what other passages do i line up? all main and c-rod bearings r in proper. what about galley plugs? could one be missing maybe? does anyone have pics of or diagram of plug locations?
