Default Bump Stops

Short of getting coil-assist shocks or using V8 springs, how can I keep my truck from bottoming? My fenders are all bent up, and the edges of my tires are all siped up from where the metal has cut the tread blocks. Are there bump stops I can turn up or anything?

And I don't mean like speed bump drops, but if I hit a dip real hard, or get airborne, it's follows by a loud BANG. You car hear it at about 30 seconds in this video:

Here's pictures of what I speak of. Window sticker says Sport-Plus group includes 255/65R16 OWL All Season tires, I'm on 265/70's. Difference is all of one half of an inch on Radius.

doesn't it just re-bend the next time you bottom (or drop)? Or did you clearance the whole fender?

Hell, just some of the pot holes around here at 35 MPH bottom me out. That gap is seriously about 4"

Get a body lift or smaller tires.

I'm on the bigger tires for a reason (flotation and dry grip). But trying to keep my CG down for handling. I've put coil-assist shocks on a buddy's truck, but it was alot heaver (85 C-10 w/ 305) than a dakota, so IDK how they would work out...
