Just let you guys know I am setting up a FAQ for the 2nd Generation. I am collecting most of this from the FAQ and FAQ2 that I have put together in the 1st Generation.

If anyone has any good posts for me to post up in there post them in this thread. Along with any other suggestions. This will take me a few days or more to get it all together.

 

Okay I need some help. Out all the hundreds of posts on V6 to V8 swaps, All I could get of a full write-up was Varsis' swap. Trust me I searched!

Did anyone else in the 2nd Gen do it. I just wan to post it up in the FAQ for others. We got several for the 1st Gen.

Or any swaps of any kind or any modifications of any kind.

 

what happened to the sticky we had about year to year breakdowns, engine, trans specs etc ???

 

It is in the FAQ. General info. Right before the Check engine light codes at the top. I can rename it or do something else with it if you have an Idea.

When I click 'general info' it says I can not access this page... I tried it just now. Not sure whats up with that

Also under the "largest tires that fit" section it says 31s will fit with a tb crank. Aren't the stock 265/70's really close to a 31" tire? Thats whats on the 4wd dakotas stock. Need to find one of the conversion charts...

EDIT: I did the conversion and it comes out to ~30.5

So with that I think 31s should fit stock..

 

Do y'all want a separate FAQ section like the ones in 3rd Gen DAk/Ram and 2nd Gen Ram sections?

Is very easily do-able. Just gotta get a mod from here to help me with the polls (hint)...

 

Okay I Fixed the General info. Also the 2 Allapr sites will have way more info.

As for the "Largest tires that fit" I spent tons of time searching the forum. That is the info I found. But if you would like I can change it. Let me know what you want.





Well it is up to you 2nd Generationers! Post up and tell us what you want. In the FAQ in this section there are the links to the FAQ that Hammer is referring to.

 

Well i know 31s will fit, but not really a big deal.

A FAQ section would be cool, maybe make a poll?

 

Go ahead and make your poll, link the other FAQ sections in it so 2nd Gen Dak guys can see exactly what we are talking about and we'll take it from there after we see the poll results. I have no problem doing it if y'all want one...
