The tail lights in my dakota wont turn off on me. The only way I can get them to turn off is by unplugging and replugging the starter relay. Does this mean I have a faulty starter relay or is there something else that could be causing this?

If it is just your tail lights, sounds like you got a wiring problem. Somehow it is shorting out on another power wire. Just inspect the wires. Start with the rear. If you have trailer wires that may be one place to look. Work your way up.
