Durable Shocks Search: who you got?
Bilsteins?
Monroe: sensa-trac?
I need to replace the OEM shocks...what are the longest lasting shocks you have experience.
I do not tow...I want a comfortable ride.
New shocks should make my car sit higher, yes?
Also need to replace ball joints...should i go with the Moogs or might there be something better?
have only had 2004 dak for a month.

Rancho rs 5000s
ive done a lot of off roading/driving along logging roads with lots of potholes, and when im not doing that im driving around the city
theyre great shocks, have held up to everything ive put them through, smooth ride off road, smooth ride on pavement. I would recommend these to anyone

If you're going to look at the sensa-tracs, get the monroe reflex's instead. I heard they're built a little stronger because the sensa-tracs were failing in trucks and suv's. May just be a rumor though. Nevertheless, I just replaced my stock shocks with monroe reflex's and they're just fine. Stiffer than the 200k old oem ones, that's for sure! I only do freeway driving though, no offroad.
