I just changed my water pump (it was leaking) and I changed the spark plugs. After that when I try to turn the truck on it wont start, will only if I give it gas, an when I let up off at the gas it dies.

What am I missing? Why is the truck doing this?

 

Just fixed it. I saw somewhere a guy said if you disconnect your battery for a long time it takes a couple of minutes to relearn all the sensors. I kept giving it gas and turned the heat on to get the truck to warm up faster and it slowly adjusted and stayed running. An it started 3 time in a row without cutting off. Has anyone else ever had that happen?
