Thumbs down You know what sucks... UPDATED with PICS

My truck.. lol

I'm in the middle of replacing the throwout bearing... its not fun. Every damn bolt on this thing has loctite on it. So Im killing myself getting them loose.... on top of that the air gun I got, wont take em loose. Maybe it loosens them up enough for man power, but either way it sucks.

Well when we pulled my engine to redo the gaskets, all that was holding the tranny to the engine was 3 bolts, one of which was loose. And I had had it off road and beat on it 3 times prior to pulling it XD.

heat it up and it becomes a hell of a lot easier..a LOT easier

that or pick up some whiskey and get angry
just be warned that the 2nd option normally ends up in bloody knuckles with a loss of concentration

id stick with the first

sounds like you need a better impact gun, or a BFH.

Yea, I would have loved to have a good air gun. We had the hammer.. lol Not enough room for a cheater bar that big... But I will have some pictures to show ya when I get home. You ought to get a kick out of what I found.

Default UPDATE, With Pics....

We were doing it at my grandparents in law, they have a slab that was perfect for it. We drove it up on the ramps there.

Holy hell! Man, theses trucks will run until there is nothing left of them. We may not get the most stock performance, or mileage, but I'll be damned if those other motors could go through half the **** ours do.
