Default If I clear the CEL codes, will they come back?

I just put in my new motor. Wanted to make sure the CEL codes I was getting were legit, so I cleared the codes out and I am waiting to see if the CEL comes back on. So far 60 miles and nothing. Does this make sense to check? They were codes for my power steering switch and radiator fan circuit. Thanks.

That's good to know. I just wanted to be sure these were really problems before I put time and money into the truck.

Yup, like playmaker said, if it's really a problem it will back on. Might take a 100 miles or so. But if they aren't real problems the light shouldn't come back on.

They will come back until the problem that caused them in the first place isn't remedied.

Cleared them, 130 miles later none of them have come back. Hoping it was just because of the engine swap and everything is working now. Thanks for the help.
