Default Project "Runt" COMPLETE!!

so after wreckin my white 97... i ended up gettin a red 02.

dak3.jpg

i drove it completely stock for a whole 2 days! it was tough... but that weekend i got to work....

tarp was protecting glass from sparks.

112809085.jpg

started workin friday.... pulled it outta the garage on sunday! but one minor problem... i didn't expect this much rake lol

112809089.jpg

112809090.jpg

but to be able to pull it out on sunday a big thanks goes out to Shawn AKA  klintok. he came by saturday and stayed till the build was back on the road.. he also looked up the FSM for the 02 for some torque specs. so i know that when i got to unbolt anything.... it'll be a PITA! hahaha

112809078.jpg

so because of the rake, on tuesday before work, i went to autozone and got some U bolts... that night after work... i removed two extra leafs on both sides and installed 3in steel drop blocks (stolen from the 97)

sorry for the cell pic, but i think it looks a hell of a lot better without the extreme rake.

MODS: Short air intake, clear corners, tail lights, bed cover, rims, air dam grill, cut springs up front and DJM rear hangers w/ 3in steel drop blocks with 2 leafs deleted. Cherry Bomb Turbo muffler dumped b4 axle. pioneer premiere headunit. and the bench seat was taken out for two bucket seats, 5% tint all around and over factory

and i went over budget.... but i don't think it was to bad...

$92.79 over... but at least i'm not plannin on spendin a lot more money on it lol  and with only owning the truck 2 weeks to the day!!

i might install a lil system later on next year... but for now i gotta work on the 97

Dang Mike, I loved the white truck! I didn't even know it got toasted. The new one is looking good and I have no doubt it will be a SHO truck soon, lol.

I'm not a fan of lowered so whatever, but the look of the truck other than that is good.
