Default DIY Rust Proofing with POR-15

Hey everyone,

I posted this over in the first gen forum, wanted to share it here also.

as i understand, the original POR-15 was designed to stop current rust from spreading, not necessarily as a rust preventative.

They make references to it being a "rust preventative coating" as well, so even though it can be used to stop the spread of rust I don't see why it can't also protect. It is even used to seal concrete. I plan on painting the bed of my truck with it prior to using the roll on liner.
