here is the site I bought my LED's from... http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ini-wedge.html

I bought the WLED-x5 in blue. They produce a 360 angle of light, rather than a "spot light" type bulb. I figured it would give a good balance of light across the panel...

I should add that the bulbs I bought are a pretty tight fit in the instrument panel. I did this a couple years ago, and it seems like on a couple of the bulbs, I had to ream out the panel a little bit. The bulbs replace the stock ones, but I found it a little hard to get them inside some of the holes in the panel.. I probably could have gotten around drilling the holes out a little bit, but I didn't want to force the LED's in...

It may sound like a PITA, but overall it was a pretty easy job. I just wish I would have done a write up on it with pictures and posted it on here......

I bought ones from the site. Good catch...I forgot about those...

It is possible to get the old bulbs outta the sockets with a little effort, but you run the risk of breaking the socket....so I suggest just getting new ones.

No special wiring needed. The LED's I bought are made for our trucks, so they fit right in just like the OEM bulbs.

When I get some time today, I'll post some more info....

Oh, I have a pic of my instrument panel in my profile if you want to check out what the blue LED's look like once they are installed.....
So with that blue tint will the red bulbs make it to purple? I dont want purple lights lol

If I get the super bright reds will they over power the tint and just be red?
