Default weird vibration at high speeds?

Hey everyone i have a 99 dodge dakota 4X4 5.2L and i have a problem that whenever i drive over 70 the whole truck shakes and vibrates really bad, it sound like its coming from my front end somewhere but not 100% sure. I thought my tires were just out of balnce so i had them replaced and rebalanced but didn't help, i also had all my ball joints replaced and my inner tie rods, didn't help. Someone suggested it might be my U-joint is bad but im really stumpe now and so far i've spent over $1200.00 trying to fix this but to no prevail. any suggestions?

Are you sure it's coming from the front end? Driveshaft comes to mind...

Does it only do it when in 2wd?

i havent tried driving that fast in 4 wheel drive yet, you can start to notice it at about 55 but at 75 it's terrible.

sounds like death wobble from a jeep

maybe the driveshaft, do you have a bodylift/crank tb's?
anything that alters stock geometry?

my 99 dakota 3.9l ex cab 4x4. was doing the same thing. IT has really low miles and is well maintained. IT turned out to be the transfer case (np231 d). They for some reason crack break ect... For no explained reason. First time mine broke it was the transfer case chain cover $250. Thi is the second time and its on the case its self. Its a 5inch by 2.5inch piece of medal that broke and fell off some where. We went to a dodge dealer and they said alot of Durango/dakota/ram 1500 transfer case keep breaking for unknown reasons. We have bought 2 other transfer cases and they have cracks and splits in the same place. Thats y my truck was doing it. When you would get up to about 65 it seemed like your truck is going to vibrate apart?
