My 01 Dakota stalls when I put it in drive. I dont drive the truck much maybe 250miles a month. It onlt happens when the truck is cold. Ant Ideas to what it can be? I cleaned the IAC valve, It had a lot of carbon on it. I am going to replace it this week, hopefully that is the problem as the truck does idle a little low.

 

Mine used to do the same thing when I had my last dakota which was an auto, but I never actually figured the problem out before I sold it.

i have an 01 dakota also it does the same thing when its cold. It has did that since i bought the truck 3 years ago. I havent figured out what causes it yet.
