Default Brake Lines

Sorry for the noobie questions.
How easy is it...(cost and tools required)....to replace my hard lines with braided hose. I posted recently about my hard line being corroded, and want to just replace it with braided lines. I can't seem to find a pre-bent hardline for my 02 dakota quad cab. I want to try to do this tomorrow, so If you can let me know with a quick an dirty how to.

Thank You.

Braided stainless lines are meant to replace rubber hoses going to calipers. They are desined to prevent the rubber expansion.

You can't replace a steel line with a braided line. Well, I suppose you could, but it would cause your brake pedal to get mushy. Not good. Braided lines are meant to bend and give slightly. Steel is not. Always replace steel lines with steel lines.

well, customcars, you are correct, to an extent, i'll have to look up the info but, there is at least one company i know of that actually makes a braided stainless line for replacing brake lines in length,
its not cheap, not by a long shot. def not worth it unless your ride gets judged at national shows
