yea same... lol. my buddy in his Ranger said it's just a clear paint coat on the back that converts the white light to the lame green. he changed his to red but sanded off the paint layer. i'm thinking do the same thing? i want blue also

hmm. i'll have to check,
im probly gonna be replacing my entire gauge cluster so its not a big deal. but i'd like to know

hmm.. you didn't replace the blinker or high beam you said? if you put say red lights in there would it get mixed with the blue?

yea im planning on doing that but i still havent gotten my leds, freaking chinese company im gonna order some more from another company and just take the $8 loss

The color on the cluster backing is already blue (the blue coating on the cluser + yellow incadescent bulb tint = green display. So the blue LEDs really pop when installed. I did this same mod about a year ago...only I did some simple wiring for the AC controls and added 2 more LED's, becuase it wasn't bright enough.

no, theres a Styrofoam deal that blocks the blinker and hibeam lights.

yea, even with the brightest led its weak.

how do they respond to the dimmer?
i like my lights dimmer than i can get them
