Exclamation switching out leds behind gauges and ac controls problem

ok so like many people on the site i decided to switch out the lights behind my gauges to blue leds, ive ran into a problem tho it looks like the leds and socket are too big for the circuit panel hopefully im just doin this wrong and someone can help, specifically im doin the ac panel right now and havent gotten a chance to do the ones behind the speedo and stuff

which lights did you get for the a/c panel. mine took the neo-x5 or something like that. a super small twist lock light. it helped to take the plastic backing off, basically remove the two screws and pry it off. oh and, if you got the neo-5x you have to cut part of the plastic tab. give me a second on paint and ill make a pic for you.

cut the nub part off, at the red line. i used a pocket knife. then you will be able to twist it in.

well you guys didnt tell me i would need more leds thanks a lot lol
i might order some later got the regular ones in fine just had to force them in they look BA

were you trying to shove the 196 bulbs in the ac control , lol?

what size neo did you get 3mm, 4mm, or 5mm

get the brightest kind for thoes, i did and they are still pretty weak, if you went for the cheaper ones you wont see ****

yea just got the bright ones, when and if my chinese ones come in ill switch out the turn signals for the blue, if i can save the turn sockets without breaking the existing amber bulbs
