a sad day, selling the R/T

I REALLY wish someone would start putting diesels in smaller trucks. I would love a diesel but have no need for a 2500. I wish at the very lease they would start putting them in 1500s. I think it would be a big hit and a lot of people would like them. It would be nice owning a full size truck that has lost of torque and gets 25-28, maybe even 30 mpg... just my $0.02.

Racoon114 has got that right the 5.9 cummins was and still is the best. The 6.7 cummins was having problems with the clean canister filter in the exhaust clogging up and putting alot of heat back on top of the valves. Buddy of mine got a 6.7 cummins and has the motor replaced three time because of that. But that all happened a year ago. The dealership told him to really run it hard.

wasnt he already having problems once getting the R/T to pass emissions testing because of the long tubes he put on his truck? once you do the dpf delete the egr stops working too. the two sytems work together. if your gonna do a dpf delete might as well go ahead and do the egr delete too.
