Default Want shocks, '00 Dak Quad 2x4

Hey All:

Looked here for a while, now asking:

Need to replace the shocks on my Dakota, 99% street/highway, 1% mild off-road (this is a work truck, I use my '41 Power Wagon for off-road fun); loaded to capacity once or twice a month. Once towed a WWII dump truck for about 15 miles at 13,650 gvw (only a LITTLE over!!).

I bought Edelbrocks about 50,000 miles ago, and one of the front ones has failed. Waste of money, imo.

I'd like a set of shocks that are high-quality/heavy duty, not high-bling, super-whammydyne.

NAPA used to make heavy-duties for this truck, but I was told not anymore.

Any opinions?

Thanks very much!

-Ken

if you want to restore the factory shocks go with kyb g2, or a little upgrade go with their gas adjust. or their mono max for heavy duty.
