Cummins 5.9L in dakota

i have a 2002 4x4 dakota with the bigger v8 avalible for them and i want to convert it over to a diesel what would be the best thing to do

Be like me and sell your truck so you can get a ram with a cummins in it.

the only beef i have with that build is he used like 6-8" of lift blocks. With all the torque on hand now, he's gonna twist right thru those ubolts one day.

check the archives for post by 6bt. He put one in a 2nd gen Dak, and said he didn't have to massage the firewall, he's got outside mounted fans (electric).

I have not had an issue but I dont really beat it that hard. I do drive it, only on the street and a lot on the highway.

Yeah I will. last year was my first time there and I had a good time. So im def going back again this year.

I just bought up a rolled 2003 dodge ram with the Cummins 5.9L in it for $800 =D best part is it runs!!! sorry i have been gone a while folks, had another project that took priority (girlfriends car took a ****) LOL so hopefully over winter break i can put this beast in!
