Flipping Exhaust Manifold for Turbo
Hey guys been doing alot of reading and searching on turbo setups. The easiest way for me would be to flip the stock manifolds and make a y pipe up front. I have an electric fan already so there's plenty of room. I read that the power steering pump will be in the way.
What I've heard is using a P/S pump from a Grand Cherokee will make the drivers side header clear. Can anyone confirm this?
Here's a pic of a 5.9 cherokee motor and you can see the pump hows it's different

Someone on here already has one. It's a yellow r/t.
Hes not on here a lot but he could def give us a lot more insight on the topic.
And you have a 97 with a 5.9?... I didn't think the 5.9 went in any dakotas in 97... no r/ts or qc's then.

well my truck came with a 3.9 its a 2 door with a back bench but I put a 5.9 in it. On another forum I'm on theres a bunch of guys with turbod 318 and 360's but all with different setups
What is the other forum site? Do you have any links to the turbo setups? Or do you have a good write up on the 5.9 swap? We get asked about it all the time. All we got is mine from 1st gen. Can't beat the power of the 5.9, I love it. If you got any links I will post it in the FAQ in this section for others.
This is what I'd like to do except he made a bracket to move his PS pump
