All right, I finally took my truck in to check out the popping noise. Mechanic says the Ball joints are all in spec, but the wheel bearing on the driver side needs to be replaced. I've looked on the web, but I can't find any place that lists the part number/price for a dakota wheel bearing hub assembly. Any suggestions thanks. dealer says almost $500 for the work. I think it can be done for less.
