How do i know what differential i have in the rear of my truck.. i need to replace and i was wondering how i find out it is which one i have? thanks

 

I have the same truck. In the glove box it has a equipment sticker that list the rear end and other things the truck has.

 

Yup, look in the golve box and there is a sticker that list the size and gear ratio of the rear axle.

 

If you post the last 8 digits of your VIN I can tell you what differential you have.

 

so i have the 3.5 differential. Are the gears in the front and back both the same? I only need to replace the gears inside so i was wondering i found a front differential if i could use the gears outta that or am i limited to just the rear?

 

one more question, im thinking about just getting one of these . anyone have any feedback on them?
