The rim is 8" wide stock, Usually people like to say no more than 2" more which is 10 or 10.5, but I know plenty of people running 12" wide tires on 8 rims. But I don't think they will even fit in the front as far as fenders are concerned.

Im running a 31x10.5 on 15 in rim I was talking to one of the guys I know that owns a tire shop in my town he said its doable with a 12 but he wouldnt recommend it cause it will bulge since its pretty wide. Personally I wouldnt do it in the winter I haul wood and coal at times and my tires will bulge a bit once that weight is in the bed.
