There is a sticky at the beginning of the forum with a lot of very usefull information. There is also a thread or 2 in the forum where you can follow step by step where someone has done it. There is also a thread here somewhere where someone did a hemi swap into a 2nd gen dak. Try searching.

if you want a simple v6-v8 conversion im pretty sure the 3.9L and 5.2L have the same motor mounts and are pretty much plug and play except you would have to replace the PCM as well

I would recommend staying away from any chips from anywhere without knowing what kind of a tune they have. A bad or wrong tune could mean a blown motor. You never know what programming is done on them. I understand that they're more affordable but keep in mind if you get what you pay for. Stick to ones that are proven and made by a company who is able to back any damages cause by their product.

or just go find yourself a new truck that came stock with a V8 as opposed to your current V6.... that is only if you don't want to attempt to do a swap yourself
