4x4 Question
I have a 1999 Dakota club cab 4x4. Can someone tell me is this a true 4 wheel drive meaning all 4 wheels drive or is this a limited slip type where you only have one wheel on the front and one on the rear driving at any time. I ask this because my son recently got stuck in the snow and when i went to help him get out only one wheel was driving on the front and rear at any given time. If it is a true 4 wheel drive what locks in the front differntial? What can i do to make it a true 4x4? Thanks for any help you may have.
limited slip rear and open front. Rear get a locker, and same for the front if you really want it. But i think the front will explode LOL. They are weak little diffs. especially if you have anything bigger than oem tires
Yeah I wish all 4 of my tires would spin. My buddy showed me up one day pulling out our skid steer he has a ram 6 in lift with 35's mostly stock 5.2 he got all 4 to spin on dry pavement I was impressed
