I just bought a 2002 Dakota with a 4.7L engine. After 2 weeks it registered a P0305 fault for misfire on cyl 5. Does any one have any tips on removing the individual ignition coils for this engine? I removed the hold down nut and tried pulling up on the coil, but it would not budge. I did not want to apply too much force. Also, what is the most like cause of this code. Thanks.

 

Could be a bad plug, bad coil, clogged injector, valve problem, etc. Start simple and work your way up.
