Default Dodge Dakota lifts?

I have a 2000 dodge dakota 3.9L v6...Throttle body spacer, cold air intake and flowmasters dual exhaust. It straight hauls *** and can out run most v6 trucks and almost all v8s. but i want to be able to put a suspension lift on it and throw on some larger tires for off roading. I can't seem to find one for my truck though, does anyone know where i can find one online?

You may want to check the FAQ in the 2nd Generation Dakota sub-forum. I will move this there.

sell that throttle body spacer that is doing nothing on your fuel injected engine and use that money to save up for a body lift or if you are a big spender go for the suspension lift. i hear it's mad expensive but i dont know for sure my trucks suspension is going lower not higher. haha. oh and btw, find me and my R/T, i'll give that six of yours a run for its money

Yes as been been talked a lot about the TB does nothing on FI. As far I know there is either 1 or 2 companys that make a lift for our trucks cant think of the names off the top of my head but they run about 1,500+. Also kinda doubt the slow 3.9 with just what you have would beat a v8 unless you have more on it then what you said. My buddy had a 3.9 with a CAI, exhaust and 5 speed exact same as my truck only mine had the 5.2 and was auto which sucked then and still does today. Smoked him every time and I only have a magnaflow exhaust with the stock cat nothing else done to my truck.

3.9 and hauls *** should never be used in the same sentance. I was really hoping he was joking when he made that statment... You have obviously never driven a fast vehicle before.

As far as lifts go. You can do the cheap body lift. Crank the TBs and blocks in the back. Or you can go all out and buy a suspension lift. Which are obviously the best but cost an arm and a leg. Tuff Country makes a 5.5" lift but its going to run you $1500.

A non 4x4 is called a 2wd! You may want to check the FAQ in this section.

Here is a copy and paste.

2wd
Full suspension lift 3in.
http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/ap...tadurango.html

You can use the 2in body kit. It says only for 4wd, but slight modification may be necessary.

3in

For the front you can get coil spacers. Use one on top and one on the bottom for 2in lift. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku

http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/share...t=products.asp

If you got a V6 you can get V8 coils to give you an inch or so or custom coil springs. Ebay.com may have some.

For the rear, you can use shorter spring shackles.

Or flip your shackle hangers. Check out https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen-...ut-blocks.html https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen-...le-hanger.html

Add a leaf too.

You can also do a spring over axle swap. But this will add around 5 inches of lift just for the back. After a SOA swap, you can use lift blocks. Sizes are available from 1 inch - 6 inches.

You can get air shocks too. These are not air bags. So you don't need an on-board compressor.
