I'm not sure what a stage 1 clutch kit is, but maybe a BUMP to your thread will get someone that may know to post up.

I've been looking into this as well and I'm pretty sure its either OEM of the centerforce. The way I look at it is that if the OEM clutch can handle the 5.9 then it can handle anything the 3.9 can muster up.

Crazy4x4RT a stage 1 clutch can handle more power and torque than OEM you can usually find up to stage 5 or 6 which has ridiculas more power handling but stage 1 still keeps the factory feel of the pedal. As for clutches they actually make two others (both on EBAY) than centerforce which comes with nothing but disc and pressure plate and can handle about 90% more power than stock, the first is sachs stage 1 about $120 with no bearings or alignment tool and can handle 15-18 more power and the other is LUK's PRO series gold which I chose for $308 and free shipping comes with everything bearings and alignment tool which the guy told me holds up to 30-40% more power over over stock. I don't know if the 5.9L clutch would fit they have different lengths the 3.9 is 10 3/4 in diameter and the 5.2 is 11 in don't know if it matters or not. Sorry for the long thread just thought I let you know.

Post up after you get it on as my clutch will need replacing soon and if I'm going to be replacing it I might as well upgrade.

Stay away from Centerforce and Zoom. They suck compared to a

Spec Clutch.

I get it installed this tuesday i had acouple seals leaking so i thought to replace the clutch while they were under there. I tried to find a replacement flywheel good luck Sachs makes one but noone has it in stock and i tried everywhere and some places said it was a special edition that they don't make to many parts for its an early 99 appearantly they came out with a late 99 sport so finding parts is kinda a pain but will keep you posted.

Just got the truck back the luk clutch works good and feels soft but the exhaust still needs some work. Zanethan Luk clutch is wonderful and it comes with everything you need you can find them for about 250 but i only found them for the v6.
