Does anyone know if you can make a double din sterio fit into a 2000 dak? I was told by the guys at futureshop that it would interfere with the structural supports. i know it would require cutting the dash out, but has anyone done it before or have pics?

 

I've seen it done b4, there's a post on here somewhere with pics I think it's listed under a custom center console

 

I've done a double din in my Dakota. The dash piece was removed and some trimming is necessary, nothing too structural was taken out. The heater controls were relocated to the glove box to make the screen fit centered in the dash. The radio's mounting sleeve was molded into the dash and then painted to match.
